Our senior students engage in collaborative learning experiences, and enjoy their leadership roles in our community.
The teaching staff plan for the student’s learning experiences, with the support of Learning Support Officers and Literacy Support Staff. Teachers plan for individual learning needs.
Our Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths (STEAM) activities are preparing our students to be creative thinkers in the future!
Each year students apply for Leadership positions that are integral to the organisation and running of our school community.
Leadership positions include:
Student Leaders – These students represent our school community at many events, including the ANZAC and Remembrance Services, as well as supporting events within the school community.
Social Justice Leaders – This Leadership group organises events to raise money for CARITAS AUSTRALIA, which is an international aid and development organisation of the Catholic Church. They raise awareness of social justice issues in our local area and internationally.
F.I.R.E. Carriers – (Friends Igniting Reconciliation through Education) – These students seek to keep the Reconciliation flame alight in schools, educating the community about Reconciliation, Aboriginal history and culture.
Sustainability Leaders – The work of this team of students includes supporting sustainability initiatives in our school and educating students on the importance of caring for our environment. This team has strong links to our Brigidine heritage.
Technology Leaders – The students in this Leadership group support staff and students in the use of technology, and encourage our community to be responsible digital citizenship members.
