St. Bernard’s uses the diocesan Foundation - Year 12 Religious Education program - The Source of Life.

  • Religious Education is sharing and experiencing Scripture in order to develop a relationship with Jesus, which will be evident in our everyday lives.
  • Religious Education links the Catholic story to our personal story, connecting life and faith, faith and culture. 
  • Religious Education seeks to nurture and develop an understanding, sensitivity and acceptance of difference so that we live peacefully and justly. 
  • Religious Education calls us to respect God’s creation and responsibly exercise our creative spirit (Source of Life)
Parents are invited to celebrate our Catholic Identity throughout the school year at a variety of events:
  • Beginning of the year Mass
  • Easter Story
  • Mother's Day Liturgy
  • Feast of the Sacred Heart Liturgy
  • Feast of St. Bernard's Liturgy
  • End of Year Advent Mass
  • Christmas Carols and Grade Six Graduation Evening
